I totally went into it expecting a love story where the guy sleeps with the shy sweet girl, then falls in love, and then someone bullies her and he stands up to them. I thought the movie was okay. I have really high expectations for A24 movies though and this just didn’t meet the expectations. The lighting and set design was just okay. I liked all the small details they included but something still just felt off. It’s one of those movies that you kind of need to watch it again to really understand it so I might do that and edit my review. It was a lot to follow but the story was interesting.
