  When she said the title in that one quote I smiled so big. I do feel kind of weird and unsure what to do with the optimism of this film; it feels like a trap or a prank within the context of his other filmography. But it’s fun!

  First saw this in a Subversive Film class over 15 years ago (the professor, if I recall correctly, owned Peter Watkins’ personal 16mm copy!) I’ve thought about that class a lot lately and I’ve tried to reconstruct the syllabus as much as my memory allows.

  This is a great revisit, if you’ve seen it before, or a timely first-watch. It’s on Tubi!
