    Ok, so I loved that I watched it and immediately related to the snobs… that was well done, to so smartly remind viewers that we’re no better than them, and therein lies the tension of “which side are you on?” 

    But overall, the social commentary was interesting but not pushed very deep, and not handled as engagingly as Parasite or Squid Games.

    Still fun to watch — solid airplane movie — thanks to the craziness of what goes down, even though it was pretty predictable.

    Really beautiful in 30mm. Stunning visuals & audio (could have been a bit quieter though). Great complex character development. Epic story. Nice balanced & smart commentary on the many sides of science and politics.

    I didn’t think they did enough work to flesh out the characters and make them really complex (it was like 2 layers complex… what I’d expect out of a high school AP Lit essay, not a professional Disney film)… there were too many players and not enough investment in backstories or current contextual bits to round out details.
