He writes his characters in such a way that you feel like you are a part of their journey.   its hard to say if this is better than fury road or not but as far as sequels/prequels go this certainly lived up to it. what i wished this had more of was the practical effects that fury road had, it was very obvious that this had relied more on CGI.

  What a way of storytelling!!. This film proves that all you need to make a good film is good writing and direction. 1.5 hours of pure dialogue shot in 1 location and yet i didn't get bored for a single second. Truly one of the most important films ever made!
