Wow this movie disappointed me. I love chess, but the way they try to make chess interesting falls so flat. They fail to explain the importance of moves or the games themselves. The slow mo shots of chess moves were unbearably cringe not to mention a poor performance from Tobi. I feel like the people who made this movie didn't know anything about chess or the importance of the real people.
The overall arc of Bobby Fischer is told incredibly poorly. They fail to balance both interesting new chess viewers and veterans ag the game. Very few redeeming qualities except for a couple good scenes.
