    The more I think about it, the more it crushes me internally. Such a beautiful yet poignant film about depression. The every day subtleties and inner workings of how it infiltrates your mental and emotional state, and how easy others can miss the cues. “Don’t you ever feel, like, tired and down and feels like your bones don’t work, like you’re sinking?” That hit hard.     Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve lived parts of this journey with loved ones (but with parents, not a spouse), but this hit me in all the feels. I loved the chemistry with Garfield and Pugh. Funny. Sad. Beautifully acted. Life is fragile. Love those around you, to the fullest. And don’t give up on your dreams.

    Wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed the thrill (& humor) at every turn. Also a clear example of a one-sided relationship to the detriment of everyone. As AI gets more popular, it’s slightly terrifying to think about, but Companion does a good job of humanizing it. Sophie Thatcher was perfect as Iris. A fun watch for sure!
