Astonishing imagery, beautifully shot. Unfortunately it keeps a very steady rhythm and a certain calmness that does not provide the necessary loud scream as loud as the fire in the beginning. The soundtrack is very good but the credits song is just a mood killer.

A very pleasant surprise on MUBI, this film stands out for the melancholic and oniric aura it creates through the beautiful work on the photography and sound design. The acting and script felt very solid and clever, constantly pulling you inside the poetic trance that is induced by the night scenes and the "archive" footage.

This film tried to be very awesome but it failed on every aspect of it. And the amount of flares on the image is just plain ridiculous at some point.

Seen whilst still in the worldwide context of the Covid pandemic, one can understand the frenetic movements as a reaction to the loss of routine, the effect of prolonged isolation, the shackles of being inside four walls. The characters literally crawl on the walls, there's nowhere to go nor how to escape the present situation. The historic parallel has us thinking, on how easily our stability can be damaged. In a time when we're forced to stay put, how does an agitated mind and body react?
