Malcolm X 1992
I sat down not knowing the 3h 22m runtime of this film, and yet when I finished it I felt as though it could’ve been several more hours and I still would’ve loved the film. A truly epic and sprawling account of the storied life cut short much too soon of one of history’s greatest civil rights icons. When it comes to biopics, it doesn’t get better than this.

The Beatles: Get Back 2021
Peter Jackson once again is able to put together a masterpiece. A daunting task of 60+ hours of raw studio footage, and yet he nails it. In this extremely raw 8 hour experience, it shows how even when things seemed to be in a tailspin and there was no coherence to the album being made, the band is able to still pull off a musical masterpiece.
