The only things that pulled me away from the necrophilia scene were my thoughts reenacting Dafoe giving us a breakdown of his iconic drip in the movie.

Overrated AF. I mean, it's quite an idea to depict how normal their lives were in that horrific situation but at the same time when you drag that normality up to almost 2 hours with no point at all?
It gets nowhere and it says nothing. No explanation whatsoever about all those operations mentioned. Just portraying the normality of the Hoss family.
We do realise they're the main characters during this movie but there's a fucking reason why and for what they're know for. They're not just neighbours of the camp...
A really unrealistic take on civil unrest and how it would unfold in real life. The long takes and experimental filming didn't do it justice either.
In a more simplistic way, the film tries to make a modern version of "La Haine" while absolutely missing the whole point about critiquing the incredibly evident police brutality in the film.
