The Lives of Others 2006
Exceptional. Entrancing. Euphoric. There are many great films but few like The Lives of Others passes the metaphorical plane into the realm of truly exceptional cinematography. Many films pour 100s of millions of dollars into pieces that turn out exceptional, and can entertain, but are not as entrancing as The Lives of Others. Many films leave me feeling contempt, but very few, like The Lives of Others leave me with a sense of euphoria. This film is the perfect storm and deserves much more praise than I can offer in this simple review. Simply, exceptional, entrancing, and euphoric.
