  For some reason I thought this was a film about a tortured artist who dreams to build a mini replica New York using only match sticks. That would've been cool. Instead it's just a surreal, self-indulgent, never-ending trauma dump that exhausted all of its themes within the first hour. Not a single match stick in sight :(

  We love: Anthony Bourdain. We don't love: A variety of talking heads vaguely and loosely speculating over why Bourdain chose to end his life as if they were the man's personal therapist. This unfortunately takes up a significant chunk of the film. Some parts of Anthony are better left unknown.
