Heart of Glass 1976
The hypnotizing of the actors makes the movie feel like a dream, in such a realistic way that for me it felt like something I had dreamed, not watched. The movie is very tactile, and because of this it evokes childhood and nostalgia but retains at the same time a kind of darkness. It feels like watching people exist without pretense of either emotion or purpose, which also contributes to the feeling of unreal reality.
