Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.
I am, Paul Maud’dib Atreides. Duke of Arrakis
An in depth look of how manly post-war Italian workmanship was with Ferrari. It depicts the seriousness of purpose with both its maker’s and its subject’s. Delivering an admirable and complex dramatic biopic. Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari was incredible, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Penelope Cruz with a stellar performance as the grieving wife of Ferrari. The cinematography, screenplay, script, score, architecture, and landscape is all perfect. Special effects in some scenes were a little over exaggerated,…
Oppenheimer… The movie of the century.
Christopher Nolan outshines every biopic made with Oppenheimer, on his first go at a drama/biography. His direction is without a doubt a work of art. The ability to intertwine historical events with human emotions is. Some might say, genius. He guides the audience through an in depth look at the life of a Doctor J. Robert Oppenheimer in 3 hours. Through a roller coaster of emotions and masterful thinking. Leaving the audience contemplating the…
Final scene hits different.
“Just.. Ordinary”
Explaining the killer could be so generic looking and so ordinary you would never tell. Like Park Doo-man said “perves are nice on the outside”, in a way he was right.
The direct stare into the camera as if detective Park Doo-man was confronting the killer who very well could have been sitting and watching amongst the audience. Masterpiece.
The real killer eventually turned himself in of all the murders in 2019…
Mark Ruffalo, and Emma Stone both provided phenomanal performances.
This film is dripping in symbolism. Poor Things is an extremely unique take on a frankenstein inspired movie. I loved the rounded view the fish eye lenses gave everytime Bella was experiencing something new, giving you the perception of a new born child. Ramy Youssef’s character is a missed oppurtunity in my opinion. We don’t learn enough about him. Margaret Qualley as Felicity was only plot filler which is sort of…
I loved it all. The special effects, the scenery, the cosmetics, the props, the costume design, even the unique and original take on a willy wonka story. It’s all brilliant.
Thimothée is incredible of course, releasing his debut album that absolutely bangs. God that man can do everything.
