  Often cited as an example of Nic Cage's eccentric technique or whatever. The real scoop here is it does the American Psycho thing before the book and without Bret Easton Ellis (to its benefit). Zero clue about Cage's accent here, which drifts between England and Pittsburgh. Written by the guy who did After Hours, which makes total sense. I, too, desire to flip a sofa over the top of me like a coffin lid. 4-out-of-5 coconuts.

  My only real criticism is there are academics in it, which is kind of thematically important, so I'll give it a pass. Indelible in a number of ways pretty common to Bernard Rose movies (Paperhouse is also brilliant). 4-out-of-5 coconuts.
