Took a second watch to get into it but i’m so glad i came back. Potentially Kubrick’s best , an incredible piece of cinema containing some of the most beautiful cinematography ever. A brilliantly written story of the epic rise of a man who will and does not stop at anything in his pursuit of power and money . Lyndon is a truly villainous characters who embodies greed and all the worse aspects of humanity and yet you can’t help but partly root for him in a way only Kubrick could bring about. Truly the definition of a masterpiece

just rewatched this with a live performance by the asian dub foundation and simply blown away. 10/10 acting by all 3 of the main cast, incredible soundtrack, possibly the best cinematography of all time , such a powerful story and a shocking ending. a complete masterpiece of cinema
