Violence Voyager 2018
Came for the animation style, because of its originality and gruesome effects. I happened to see myself wanting to see it through given how unsettling it progressively got. The unraveling story of all the missing children in correlation with the amusement park is eerily odd yet the story itself gets more monstrous and grotesque. Respectfully didn’t think I’d watch the whole thing but I’ll agree that it’s originality in storytelling, dialogue and horror made for a unique animation that left…

Innocent Voices 2004
I remember watching this in my old household with my mom, I was young yet the trauma and sadness of ongoing warfare and exploitation of the Salvadorian ppl was something palpable. There’s a particular song in this film titled “Casas de Carton” it’s a song I’ve listened to till this day, its lyrics mimics the theme of not having a home amongst an ongoing turmoil and distraught circumstances of life. I love and respect this movie, with all means I recommend this film based on true events.
