  Any movie headlined by tom cruise is automatically great. Some of the continuity from H. G. Wells original novel, was thrown out the window however the main premise was the same. One thing that I didn't like is the son should have died in that explosion. The beginning is prolonged too much but it is forgivable considering their budget from 2005. :)
