Train to Busan 2016
Really great film that goes beyond zombies and instead analyzes human nature. The relationships between people are closely analyzed and become intertwined. With nail biting moments, tender interactions, and some surprising twists, Train to Busan truly surprises the viewer. Standout performances all around, with special congrats to the young Kim Sooahn. I also couldn’t help but look at it from the current coronavirus lens and think of certain parallels. It’s a film that really tugs at your heart strings, especially considering the current climate of today’s world.
