  the mum and daughter on the bed scene, and then nothing else

  i’m sorry but it just was crap - if it hadn’t of won best picture i would’ve turned it off in the first half an hour because of how awful the dialogue and crappy high school rom com vibe. 

  it was such a basic plot line and it did bare minimum to meet it - it has a wholesome message in the end but the film was boring, lacking anything capturing, and genuinely so so disappointing. shame.

  i love so much about this but also - it felt like someone as holding edgar wright on a leash a little bit being like keeping him tame - let the man go wild. You could feel something just a bit off abouts the script? Like it was so clearly written with two different writing styles.

  LOVE the atmosphere and the visuals and so much about it - but also little bit like ‘this is what women are scared of’ vibe about it. hmmmm
