The Matrix Revolutions 2003

Rewatching this every year puts another layer into perspective. This year, there was one scene that stood out. It’s when Neo loses his sight but not his “vision” which reminds me of Paul Muad'Dib losing his sight and still seeing the future with his “vision” in Frank Herbert’s second book, “Dune: Messiah”. There’s a little similarity between the two and how it ends as well. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence and perhaps “The Matrix” included this to pay homage to “Dune”. Nonetheless, they’re both classics and I love them equally.
