  Wisely and the Kingdom of the Dragon Pearl.

  Watched the Eureka Blu-ray, which is bound to sell out like hotcakes—if it hasn’t already. I already owned a copy, but after hearing my co-hosts on the Dutch "Budget Slagers" podcast deliver their vocal love letters to this film, I had to give it the highest possible priority.

  Went to the theater with my co-hosts from "De Budget Slagers" podcast, intrigued by all the bad buzz surrounding this Osgood Perkins-directed Stephen King adaptation—based on a short story from "Skeleton Crew".   Many thanks to Isla.

  A Canadian slow-burn moody mystery/thriller with a dash of folk horror that made the festival rounds in 2023 before getting unceremoniously dumped on streaming in 2024 (think Tubi), buried under a sea of generic posters alongside countless Z-movie schlock.
