Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
This movie starts off about two stars and ends about four stars, so I give it uh three and a half stars. I can’t think of another movie that gets progressively better the entire time like this. By the end I was totally ready to forgive some of the worst green screen work I’ve seen in years because everything else was so fun. I think if I was invested in anything about Mad Max other than the vibes I might rate it lower.

Everyone I know has been lying to me for 23 years about what Con Air brings to the table. This movie is a shining monument to the hubris of man. America in 1997 was drunk with power, and this movie follows what I am forced to conclude is the same arc of the bender the writers were on the night they birthed it.
I thought the weirdest thing about Con Air would be the hair-blowing gif of Nic Cage, but…
