  I noticed a lot of similarities between this and Slaughter house five. Similar themes of children getting sent off to war and nihilism. I was surprised how nihilistic the themes of this movie were. I thought it was pretty amazing that this movie was made before WW2 had started.

  A sequel made over a decade after the first one and it exceeds all expectations. Puss in boots was not only beautiful to look at but it had real emotion and heart behind it. Plus it’s pretty darn rewatchable. Something not a lot of people have been mentioning about the greatness of Puss in Boots is the western tribute it is.
