Saw this with Meg at the Plaza. It started off strong but found myself a little bored after an hour or so. Felt like it could’ve dug a little deeper into the bandmates experiences.
It only covered their first two albums so it did leave a lot to be desired.
this movie moves effortlessly from moral dilemmas, to social commentary, to police procedures, to intense thriller moments. it exposes the compassionate nature that is prevalent, yet often forgotten, in a highly capitalist society. kept me intrigued for the whole 2 hrs and 23 mins.
brilliant scenes, brilliant film.
this is a film shot through the eyes of a painter. and for those 120 minutes, the viewer is able to encapsulate that role and pick up on all the subtleties of human nature that are often left overlooked.
