Interesting approach to show the serious ethics of cloning. Also a mirror towards current world politics regarding colonialism and the rise of fascism. I kind of wish that there wasn’t a happy ending, because humanity really did not deserve that one. I mean it was nice as the usual emotional cleanse at the end of the movie, but it really didn’t need that. The only reason why I personally was hoping for things to get better, was solely for Micky. Fuck the rest on that ship, especially his old “friend”. Sadly I am not that optimistic for reality to get this kind of happy end.
