  not to be that person but just read the book instead… the events play out basically the same but there’s a lot left out in the movie that took away from the build up, leading to a way too quick pace which makes the relationship feel rushed and unearned. the final moments didn’t hit as hard as it did in the book. what they did with the ending is interesting though
