Watch it for the camp. BECAUSE THIS IS A CORNY ASS MOVIE!!!!

Anya Taylor Joy, Miles Teller and Sigourney Weaver? Damn stacked cast!

Too bad a shit story with poor direction. Also female character with minimal explored agency besides being hot and badass.

Was this written by AI? The Queen’s Gambit and Whiplash easter eggs made it feel like it was.

ATJ PLEASSSEEEE BE IN BETTER MOVIESSSS!!!

It’s a Fincher Fest at our cinemas!

And so far, I’m only watching movies that are many years old rather than even touching my 2024 watch list.

I can see where inspiration of a lot of modern crime/thriller films come from, this shaped that genre not only within films but TV too. But it only lies in the tropes we see than anything deeper.

Brad Pitt’s character pissed me off so much but even by the end I felt bad…

I would give it a 0/5 to this $120 million piece of shit. But, that would mean my score isn’t recorded in the larger audience score.

Non-existent plot and incoherent dialogue with mediocre acting.

Someone just looked at every vague thing they learned in high school humanities and english classes and decided to make a student film. Except its the fucking director of God Father and Apocalypse Now. So the ramblings of a rich, sheltered old man.

Oh, and the fucking AI use. Yeah fuck that. No wonder each city concept looks different every time its on screen.

“Math is art.” Stfu nerd lol. Quite the horror film when this was said.

Okay, on a serious note. It was just a very okay film. Generic cinematography. Generic editing. Generic production design. Generic story.

It was unique how the film went backwards with act 3 starting first and it ending on act 1. And how all things we saw in act 3, we see how they were in Chuck’s life even just a glimmer as the story wrapped up…
