way more analytical watch this time around.. noticed a lot of little animation details and textures n stuff because i watched in theaters n it was remastered o.o everything was so intentional and foreshadowed aspects of what was to come. (most of) every silly song lyric meant something. awesome watch,, timeless piece

felt very nostalgic. the jagged n crooked stop motion added to the eerie nature of the film. the soundtrack was so whimsical which matched the visuals. the sound design and mixing was very interesting and experimental,, something about it felt natural while also feeling mechanical. didnt quite grasp the full narrative and motives of the characters so gona hav to watch it again to get that.. got bored and watched this in 2 sessions but if u like stop motion and whimsical creatures, u will like thiss
