  i like the way they reveal each new ghost thing like i'm watching a scooby doo movie. the ritual scene by the grave site was camp enough to be enjoyable. don't ask me what the plot was though that shit went over my head.

  some of the songs were kinda cringe but i really enjoyed we are here and the ending song. i can see why people wouldn't like the plot but i thought it was interesting and also covered topics that i rarely see being depicted before.

  watched this on a plane and didn't know it got nominated for so many oscar awards before seeing it. did i enjoy watching it? yes. do i think it deserves all those award nominations? no. but who gives a fuck about the oscars anymore

  i am no better than the emperors of old for i too want only to watch beefy men kill each other for hours. 

  LITTLE DID I KNOW that the political intrigue of this movie would grip me harder than a man-to-man wrestling match.

  Gorgeous gorgeous art style. They squeezed in so much plot that I feel like they could have added a couple more scenes to slow the pacing a bit. Otherwise still managed to make memorable likeable characters and a cohesive story. Surprisingly stayed away from a strong environmental stewardship message and more focused on community and motherhood. There’s some implications to climate change, human impacts, and the need to go against our basic programming for survival and consumption to evolve but…
