  As a big fan of Vivian Maier, I truly wanted to love this film, but its execution falls so short of the depth it aims for. It feels more like a tabloidish glimpse into the life of a mysterious woman. 

  You still get to learn how her work was discovered after her death through the perspective of the very person who found it (the film’s director), along with some fragments of her life. But then the tone, the poor aesthetic…
