  This was better in my memories :( Watched it in 2019 with Katie at the cinema in Taikoo. Tons of symbolism and beautiful imagery but I didn't really like Kaneda nor Tetsuo. Teenage boys wreaking havoc! Crazy how all Japanese cyberpunk anime have amazing soundtracks

  Made me think about how strong a mother's relisience can be. It's good that Brazil is at a point where movies like this can be made to directly confront their past - not a lot of countries can do so. Insane soundtrack and overall beautiful!

  1) Andrew Scott
  2) Finally completed my Uncle Vanya trilogy (+ the 2020 version + the Drive My Car version), strange how a Russian play written in the 1890s pulls at my heart
  3) The ending + Andrew bowing at/thanking the audience for three whole times felt very sincere and sweet. I feel hopeful!
