Flawless and abounding in heart! 'The Wild Robot' is a sure lock for best animated feature. It's easily at the top of my list for favorite animations of all time. Roz's story is beautiful, perfectly paced, and a terrific analysis on purpose and found family - DreamWorks knocked it out of the park with this one!

Edit: Didn't take home the Oscar, but it's still my favorite animation of 2024!

Shane Black was a fine choice for director, but the script has issues. Characters are given little to do and its villains are undercooked for the sake of a silly twist. Tony Stark is stripped of his resources and forced back to his roots, but he's never brought back up to full strength despite overcoming his personal struggles. It's annoying how weak this film portrays Iron Man. When he actually does cool shit, its completely undercut seconds later. The entire film is this back-and-forth of "wow, that's awesome!" and "ugh, why did they do that?".

Opening day showing with friends was a blast! Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are amazing as these characters. Can't believe this movie exists and it does what it does. Cameos were hilarious! Not exactly the direction I want the CBM genre to go in, but this is dumb multiverse stuff at its best! It's also a touching tribute to what came before while paving the way for all sorts of new possibilities in the future. 'Deadpool & Wolverine" was everything I needed it to be and I loved it!

Doesn’t overstay it’s welcome and offers a powerful take on the titular Marvel hero. Always preferred Norton’s lanky Banner to the Ruffalo counterpart. Would be a different world if he stayed on. William Hurt is dead-on as the gruff General Ross. Wanted more from Blonsky. Marvel’s recent shortcomings only strengthen the MCU films of old. ‘The Incredible Hulk’ is always solid watch!
