Anora 2024
really good!! they did such a good job with anora’s characterization & i could definitely relate to her position and hopes as a young, isolated woman in search of love, validation, and being SEEN. daren & i had a lot of good conversation after about the movie’s many themes. there’s a lot of “blink and you’ll miss it” details that tell another story underneath the one that plays out here. and also of course it was funny as hell
