poignant, I feel like eisenberg is right on the cusp of something great here, just not a home run for me.
Still, I enjoyed and am happy this film exists. It’s thoughtful and the writing is sharp. The strength is definitely culkin’s performance. the role felt written for him and damn is he good. Worth a watch!

I’m trying to decide whether this film is ambitious or irreverent. maybe it’s both. I was most impressed by the bravery in the performances here — equal parts bold and vulnerable. I think the universe within the story is a little underdeveloped (by design) but I like that this movie wasn’t over-written, we are expected to keep up without over explanation. A must see for women kind lmao.
