In part one, I thoroughly enjoyed the world building, cinematography, and felt the gut wrenching betrayal of House Atreides. Despite that, I remember my main critique then was “distant”.
In this part two, the director builds on this monumental and visually immersive experience in the moment. But feels more commercially pleasing favoring action sequences and big name actors.
