I think my main emotions while watching this film were boredom and unease. Joaquin Phoenix baby-talking and having phone sex with a Siri for two hours made me uncomfortable. He's a good actor, but he could have been replaced by any other creepy looking, socially awkward guy and the same result would have been recreated.

"À ma sœur!" or "Fat Girl" was an exploitative, poorly directed film that used things such as rape, murder, and a manipulative relationship to tell its themes, but unfortunately failed to say anything of substance.
This film touches upon the perception of "virginity" among youth, along with showcasing the cruelty women all around the world suffer. However, it doesn't show anything we haven't seen a million times before, and it doesn't do anything with those ideas beyond merely mentioning them.…
