What an incredibly powerful & timely film
Filmed in 2018, released in 2019, this film would’ve been considered timely regardless of when it was released within the last 30-40 years. But it particularly resonates now, with racial tensions and police brutality reaching a tipping point. In 2020 alone there have been numerous police killings of people of color, peaceful prostheses that have been met with the use of excessive force and tear gas by the police and riots.
