  Excluding childhood faves (as they can't be unattached from the unavoidable nostalgia), I can say this was my favorite Pixar (perhaps animation overall) movie.
  The storyline is very good and I really liked getting to know about a different culture. The whole dynamics were very different because of the cultural factor and that definitely made me enjoy the movie even more.
  It's just really cute and makes your heart warm and fuzzy.

  Spirited Away 2001

  As Studio Ghibli movies were not part of my childhood, this was my first time watching any work by them.
  After watching "Spirited Away", I can see why this movie is so acclaimed by both critics and overall public but, not being that much of a "cult" person myself, some parts were a bit confusing, as I couldn't understand the metaphors behind them. I also couldn't feel the "nostalgia" people always talk about (as it does not, in any way, bring me back to any memories).
  Overall, I think this movie is great and the animation is just spectacular.
