The Count of Monte Cristo 2024
an amazing adaptation. every single performance was essential to it's overall excellence. each arc was well executed & the writing was equally excellent, at times taking direct quotes from the book. watching Dantés age & fester while training himself to contort into the persona of the Count, was not properly delved into but that is the only gripe i had, really. references to how he built the mystique of the persona are still referenced at times though. nevertheless, a must-see before one dies!
