    La Haine may not have been the most exciting piece of cinematography and may not contain much action but it doesn't need to because it delivers on another front. The message of this film was relevant and still is relevant to everyday society and the hatred between authority and people.

    Each character represents a vision about society, Vince being Vengeance, Hubert being peace but maintaining loyalty, and Sayid for outright rebelling…
