The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
I’m still buzzing over how gorgeously animated all the characters are in this. Everyone’s so expressive!! The Brutalist 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Brutalist is a movie where the hype for it is understandable, if blind to some of the films faults. Hundreds of Beavers 2022
A beautiful synthesis of silent era comedy, Looney Tunes logic, and even video game storytelling. The use of modern digital effects allows the filmmakers to escalate physical comedy into jokes straight out of the mind of Tex Avery. Furthermore, the episodic plot progresses through this intricate Rube Goldberg machine of gags, where the movie establishes the logic of one joke in order to build even more complex gags on top of it. Cannot wait to buy a physical copy!
