  if you tried to make a movie musical this beautiful and colorful and energetic and charming today, they'd probably shoot you execution-style.

  my favorite part was the slapstick dancing twink. funnily enough, i feel like Debbie Reynolds had more chemistry with him than Gene Kelly. and honestly justice for Lina, her only crime was being annoying and untalented (relatable).

  can't believe it took me almost 27 years to see this movie.
