The Terminator 1984
Whilst some of the technical aspects have admittedly aged, The Terminator still holds up as one of the very best films ever made, a relatively low budget prophetic masterpiece crafted with the utmost care by a small, up and coming writer/director (who would go on to change the landscape of cinema and attain legendary status).

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
The hate I see for this is definitely unjustified. Whilst most certainly not a perfect movie by any means (and not even the best Captain America entry), I loved it’s connections to the highly underrated Incredible Hulk (2008) and Eternals (2021), continuing and concluding plot threads started way back when.
