  there’s something about the father and son dynamic which was brutally inspiring. the relationship between jack o’connell and ben mendelsohn seemed so natural and it was just the way their roles taunted each other throughout but ultimately motivated them and showed that they candidly did have a true care and love for each other. it’s not presented in the usual way but i think that is why this film struck me
