    Audition

    ★★★★½

Takashi Miike's insane 1999 film AUDITION builds slow, but ramps up to a fever pitch of WTF insanity, living up to its cult classic status as one of the most messed up horror films of all time. Not for the faint of heart, but a beautifully made film.

    We hope you enjoy Audition!

    Vampires vs. the Bronx

We love a good vampire film so we jumped at the chance to see this new Netflix release that was recommended by so many of our fans. Vampires vs. the Bronx follows a group of young friends as they fight to save their neighborhood from gentrification...and vampires. Filled with lore and head nods to so many genre flicks that have come before it this was a fun romp.

    Session 9

    ★★★★½

SESSION 9 is perhaps the best set-in-an-actual-abandoned-mental-hospital film there is! You know a location is terrifying when you don't have to set dress it for your horror film AT ALL. Fantastic performances, an overall sense of dread and the spooky setting itself make for one kick ass flick.
