  I liked it, but I also like all of Robert Eggers’ stuff. Loved Willem Dafoe. Mad scientists are so back. 

  Yeah I think some of the plot and editing could’ve been improved, but overall, a solid, enjoyable and kinda freaky ass movie.

  P.S. I think Aaron Taylor Johnson is only okay in this movie. I generally like him, but it didn’t really feel like it worked super well. Everyone else does a really good job tho!

  Awesome movie. Great story, with other little side stories that talk about humanity, and so many good themes. There’s also such a gut wrenching scene too. 

  Only thing that keeps it from being perfect to me is the flashbulb thing.
