  Poor little Sergi, he’s such a poor teeny, weeny, little thing that makes me cry for him. The general concept and some ideas were nice, cute. But unfortunately the characters are too shallow and heterosexual, their motivations are kind of weak.

  not gonna lie, I was ready to dislike this film (based on what oomfs have been saying online), but I have to say that Luca Guadagnino really silenced me.

  now, it is true that some screenplay decisions were not my cup of tea, e.g. I kept wanting a bit more of sensuality and sexiness in the transition between the second to the third segment. however, I believe Guadagnino’s visual sensitivity is able to stand out and convey longing and desire without needing to use words.

  side note: it reminded me of when my dad wanted to take me to an ayahuasca ceremony.
