  beautiful to look at, but hollow at its core.
  “the real marilyn” my ass. this movie is just another sick attempt at making a spectacle out of marilyn’s suffering, as per every other marilyn “biopic”. poor de armas cannot for the life of her fill marilyn’s shoes, and she knows it. girlie tries with all her might though, and it’s equal part cringe and equal part sad. better luck next time, hon.
