  The Russian sounds like poor chimney-sweep boy and the German is just about the most stereotypical American actor you could have. Glad they put a lot into historical accuracy

  I think in general Spielberg struggled with the switch to digital and all the opportunities opened up with visual effects, which is ironic considering he started it but it’s sudden burst opportunity meant that it is used in so many random ways to “expand” the film when really it is not need; artificially overexposed frames, poorly done set extension and god awful animals and creatures really weigh down the film and make it look dated, arguable more than the original…

  I felt fairly neutral in the ‘this is propaganda’ side of  the documentary, up until the end when they have ‘An Oceanic Preservation Society film’ when it kind of all clicked, that it’s made by the organisation that portrays itself as the sole hero of the story, and with a total lack of positive Japanese representation, it does come pretty close to a propaganda type films. I also think it has a weird tonal problem with being part Mission Impossible…

  Jackie chan nearly dies for 1:40:00. It’s hard to describe how awesome and crazy the stunts are, they are masterfully preformed and shown, even the normal stuff he does is somehow a stunt. Standouts are the beginning which insane with the stunts. The story is ok but there is some good stuff there, but greatly increased by the action.
