The Hunt 2012
i have completely re-evaluated my opinion of this film. it validates victim blaming and dismisses the very common instances of child sexual assault as fantasy and the “imaginative minds of children”. while its a very powerful movie i think it has a very dangerous message which i cannot condone. the idea that children will make up such an evil thing purely to ruin a man’s life is such an awful thing to propagate.
i feel like most of the men who find enjoyment from this film are red-pilled misogynists. and also polanski.

it has its problems, especially the dialogue and line delivery. but this is honestly art. an aristotelian tragedy, an ancient greek epic, a jacobethan drama. call it what you will. the second and third acts of this film are a masterpiece.
